• $2,500 maximum deposit
• available through 1/31/2013
• Limit one per member
• Does not apply to IRAs

The $2,500 maximum deposit hurts this deal (That's why I'm not writing a blog post). The maximum amount of interest that can be earned from this special CD is only about $50 (0.02 * $2,500).

Patelco Credit Union's new member special 12-month CD is actually a better deal. It has a 5% APY with a $1,000 max which also results in an earning of $50.
