Frustrated with low-yielding bonds, some investors are pooling their money to make loans directly to companies.One of the red flags with this type of investment that was mentioned in the article is the "lack of liquidity and transparency".
Their vehicle? So-called direct-lending funds, which make loans to midsize companies, typically those with revenue between $10 million and $1 billion.
