Ken, for the above institution, the RCA table shows the APY as 0.60% for balances up to $15,000.99. This change appears to have been effective 1/30, with a previous APY of 1.98%. However, the link for the bank is for Independent Bank, which has an RCA ("Free Rewards Checking") with 2.00% APY on balances up to $15,000.99.

It's definitely confusing to have banks in the same state with similar names: Independent Bank (TX): headquartered in McKinney, Independent Bank of Texas: headquartered in Irving, Independent Bank of Austin, SSB.

Which figure / link is correct for Independent Bank of Austin SSB?

Thanks PB, It appears this Independent Bank of Austin is now part of this Independent Bank.

The website address www.ibankaustin.com redirects to www.independent-bank.com. The FDIC's history feature isn't working right now so I can't get the history details.

So we will probably delist the rates for Independent Bank of Austin and redirect visitors to Independent Bank
