Wall Street will write the bills and the politicians will say "Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full." These bills reinstate the shenanigans that the too big to fail (TBTF) banks indulged in prior to the latest financial crisis. Of course these same banks will turn to the taxpayers once again when, not if, the next blow-up occurs.

And where is the "Savers Lobby"?   Oh, I forget.  We are just around to bend over and say, "Please kick me again".

Stupidity seems to run high in Washington and Savers can do nothing but stand alone and watch their finances disappear before them.

Stupidity and self-interest run rampant in Washington, but self-interest is generally in the lead by a wide margin.
