Buy Treasurys, As Bernanke's Tapering Is All Talk

Don't bet the house that Treasury yields will keep going up from here. This CNBC article makes a good point:
Despite the carnage last week, the best opportunity in markets may be to buy U.S. Treasurys as inflation stays anemic and the economy continues to limp along, according to the two most-notable bond investors in the world.

That looks about right. The equity markets are solidly back in the upward mode with downward revised economic growth figures reported for the first quarter. That signals 'tapering' of QE by Bernanke's Fed is quite a ways down the road. The punch bowl is still on the table so any more rises in Treasury yields appear muted for the time being.
