TD Bank may be suffering under the weight of mergers and buyouts that can strain corporate information security systems. “TD Bank, as well as the other large banks, have been dealing with complex post-merger systems landscapes that they’ve had to integrate together over the course of many years,” according to Lev Lesokhin, a systems security specialist at Cast, a New York City software analysis firm. Lesokhin adds. “These post-merger integrations pose many risks due to the overwhelming complexity of joining the big systems into one set.”
