Berkshire Bank Buys 20 Bank Of America Branches

This is another case of Bank of America selling its branches. It's always nice to see a megabank shrink. From the Boston Globe:
Pittsfield-based Berkshire Hills Bancorp said Wednesday that its Berkshire Bank subsidiary has agreed to buy 20 retail bank branches from Bank of America Corp.

The 20 branches will increase Berkshire’s total branch count to 94, and its New York branch count will more than double to 37. Berkshire has $5.2 billion in assets.
