The Governor of Texas likes to brag about the low taxation in his state but it so happens that's not entirely true.  The Tax Foundation found that homeowners in Texas paid the third highest in property taxes compared to home value.  Only New Jersey and New Hampshire homeowners paid more.

He also is against the presidents healthcare law but is asking for 100 million for healthcare for his state.
