I have 2 of these sent in the mail to me. They are sitting in my coupon box. You can pick these up in the new comers packet at your local post office. They used pay more money. They paid for savings accounts and for the 5% cash back credit cards also. The one I have you have to keep $10,000 in the checking for 90 days.

I have never found any coupons for Savings accounts.  They are always for checking.  Are you saying you have a coupon for savings also?

Have one for $150 if I keep $10,000 in savings for 90 days and it expires on 10/21 and have one for $200 if I open a checking. The checking reqires direct deposit of $500, or keep $1500 in the checking or have an average of $5000 in the checking or savings.

So you can technically earn $350 with $10,000 in savings for 90 days and at least $100 in the checking acct. Checking promo ends Sept 26 and savings promo ends 10/21.

This is funny.  I am trying to get all our accounts out of Chase and now they come up with a Savings coupon.  I just would not want to put $10,000.00 into their savings just to make $150.00 for one time and then barely no percent for the rest.  Thanks any way for sharing the info.

#4. If I read the information correctly you get $150 for 90 days and not sure if you can close it but would check on it just to make sure. If it is it would be like getting 6% APY. Not too shabby.

If you do the $200 for a checking at the same time, you would have no minimum balance in that account and no fees cuz you have over $5000 in the savings and then it would be over 13% APY for those 90 days for the checking and savings account.

Got another checking account one today for the  $200. Going to have to read it more closely if I decide to do it.

#5 If it were any bank but Chase, I might be willing to give it a try but Chase is not very cooperative with these bonuses. I have been fighting with them for years over this. This is the reason I need to get away from them.  I don't trust them.  I also already have a Premier checking with them and I don't see how they would allow me to just open up another checking just to get the bonus.  I would have to have too much money tied up with a bank I am trying to get away from.  They have made it clear to me that the bonuses are only for "new" customers so no matter what I do, they consider me an "old" customer.  They aren't really concerned about my wanting to leave them because they know I have CDs in so many other banks which doesn't make me their most beloved customer.  The manager made it clear to me he keeps a track of how many banks I use when I bring the interest checks to them to cash or deposit.  As I said, they aren't going to do "me" any favors.

I used them twice for the accounts that they paid us for opening.  We had no problem and my sister and I both received the bonus as promised.  In fact we used the credit card that had 5% cash back on everything for 6 months  that they had through AARP when we built our home. It really saved us a lot of money. I have no accounts except a CD and one checking account at a bank right now. The rest are though credit unions.

They paid you because they figured you were both new customers.  If you had been an established customer, they would not have paid.  At least that is what they tell me.

BTW, I was trying to get more CDs with credit unions but lately I can't even get 2% for my 5 year CDs in any within my 100 mile radius of my city.  Their rates have dropped drastically too.  Ken has a few decent rates on his list but they are too far away from me and I just refuse to go back to long distance buying through the mail or internet.  I have to think about the problems I may be leaving behind me for DP and DD if I go first.  Maybe things will get better for savers in the next few years but I have my doubts.
