Right on the mark. That's exactly why the Fed can't even consider raising interest rates. The country would implode due to interest on debt.

I have read about this in other reports.  That is why I am grateful to even be getting 2% for my 5 year CDs.  I think it will be a long time before they can afford to give us higher rates so I am trying to survive on whatever I can get.  This makes for a very frightening future for us and our country.
