CD Rate Cuts

Saturday, November 16, 2013 - 10:08 AMNationwide Bank - Details
Looks like Nationwide Bank is leaving the "2% Club" on Monday, dropping its non-jumbo 5-year CD to 1.90% APY and its jumbo 5-year CD to 1.95% APY.  It's cut some other CD rates as well.  It must have gotten the message that the Republicans are going to roll over on Janet Yellen.

Quite right you are OldGuy. Back to 1.50% APY nationally available 5-year CD rates shortly.  Treasury yields have fallen as the markets realize that Yellen will intensify the Fed's efforts to squelch short-term interest rates.
