Banks Seizing More Foreclosed Homes [CNN]

Thursday, June 10, 2010 - 7:38 AM
Banks are seizing more foreclosed homes even as the number of people falling behind on their mortgages is declining.

According to the article, Nevada is the state with the highest percentage of foreclosures: "One in every 79 homes in Nevada received a foreclosure filing last month." It's surprising that we haven't seen more bank failures in Nevada. So far this year there have only been two compared to Illinois which has seen 12 failures this year.
