1.51% 15-Mo CD & 2.85% 60-Mo CD At State Farm Bank

Every so often State Farm Bank comes out with a few competitive CD rates. The 60-month CD rate just recently dropped from 3% to 2.85% so it's not quite deserving of a blog post. I thought I would at least post on it in the forum. Here are two fairly competitive CD rates as of 6/19/2010:

60 months     2.85%

CDs are also available in an IRA.

State Farm Bank also has a fairly good interest checking account, but like most all accounts, the rate has fallen. It now pays only 1.05% APY for balances over $2,500.
