Chase Person-To-Person Payment System - Quickpay

Chase Manhattan Bank (0 stars) - Details
I just noticed Chase offers a PayPal-like service called QuickPay.

www.chase.com/QuickPay

Here are a few important features:
  • It's free for both sender and receiver (unlike FNBO Direct's service)
  • Both you and your friend need a U.S. bank account, but only one of you need a Chase checking account.
  • You don't see their account info and vice versa (unlike ING Direct's service)
Seems like a good alternative to PayPal. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I reviewed the payment services offered by ING Direct, FNBO Direct and UnivestDirect in this post

Hi,

I contacted Chase regarding this service. Was told the transfer will take 3 business days to process. So in effect, it is being treated like any regular ACH transfer. Paypal transfers are instantaneous. Thanks!
