Nara Bank Installment Savings Rates

Nara Bank continues to have some very good installment savings account rates.

From the rate sheet at the Garden Grove branch, on 07/12/2010:

12m - 2.50%, 18m - 2.75%, 24m - 3.00%, 30m - 3.25%, 36m - 3.50%

Maximum per account is 100K, no limit to the number of accounts.

Interest is compounded daily and credited quarterly.  Early account closing results in the loss of uncredited interest.  If you must close an account, try to wait until the day after the end of a quarter.  Closing an account within 180 days of opening incurs an additional $ 50.00 fee.

These accounts are not available online, so calling your local branch is strongly advised.
