Citibank Checking Account Bonus Of $200 Or $400 In Los Angeles Area

It was reported on this SD thread of this Citibank checking promo. Here's an excerpt of the post:

I just heard this from my friend, that if you open a qualify Citibank account between 7/26/2010 to 8/22/2010 you can get $200 cash or $400 cash.

He told me this is a limited area offer.

You need to have a Citi credit card or Citi Mortgage AND Chase/Wells Forgo/Wachovia checking accounts.

And here's an excerpt of the small print:

To qualify for the $200 or $400 bonus, you must open a new to Citibank regular checking account in the Citibank Account or Citigold Account relationship package between 7/26/10-8/22/10. Within 60 days of account opening, you must fund the account with $1000, AND initiate 1 direct deposit OR complete 2 electronic bill payments OR 5 or more debit card purchases per month and continue for 2 consecutive months.

Note, Citibank checking accounts have monthly fees unless you qualify to have them waived.
