Effective today, the rate for balances below $25K drops from 4.01% to 3.51%. This follows on the heels of a fairly recent change to restrict new accounts to residents of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota (accounts were previously available nationwide).
