Florida Credit Union Temporarily Discontinues Offering Cds

This may be another case of an financial institution that has too many deposits and not enough loans. They were offering some hot CD deals in February. Now they have the following on their CD page:

First Choice Credit Union has temporarily discontinued offering Certificates of Deposit. Due to the current interest rate and economic environment, we do not feel that Certificates of Deposit provide sufficient value to our members, as they have come to expect from the credit union.
