PNC Adds Features To Virtual Wallet & Bonus Reminder

PNC Bank announced some new features in its Virtual Wallet. The new features are intended to help customers budget, track credit card expenses and set up more alerts.

The Virtual Wallet combines three online accounts: one checking (Spend account) and two savings accounts (Reserve and Growth accounts). The Growth Account offers a decent interest rate (currently 1.10% APY on up to $25K). In my opinion, it would be better if they didn't have the Reserve account (see my PNC Virtual Wallet review).

PNC Bank is still offering a $100 bonus for opening a checking account, including Virtual Wallet (see my PNC bonus review). Note, only those who live in PNC's market areas are eligible for the bonus.
