Bank of Texas is offering a special 1.50% APY 17-month CD.

This special doesn't seem to be listed at the bank's website. It was advertised in the 8/29/10 Houston Chronicle (see ad) and the Dallas Morning News (see ad).

Minimum deposit is $1,000.

To receive the APY, the new CD must be linked to an Advantage, Advantage55 or Private Label personal checking account, otherwise the APY will be 1.40%.
