1.40% 3-Month Money Market Promo At PNC Bank

PNC Bank is offering another money market account promo:

• 1.40% APY for 3 months on balances of at least $10,000.
• New Performance Checking Account is required.

This offer doesn't appear to be listed at PNC's website. It was advertised in the 8/29/10 edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The ad is available here.

A similar ad was listed in Daytona Beach News Journal in Florida, but the rate is only 1.25%. That ad is listed here.

It should be noted that PNC Bank's standard money market rates are very low.
