Interest Rate Dropping In Sept.

Thanks for the heads-up.  This is a drastic rate drop (1.5%) and limit decrease.  It has been stable at (5.01%, $25K) for ten months.

Another disappearing 5% club member... (ten left and counting downward). 

This drop (from (5.01%, $25K) to (3.01%, $15K)) is finally official; their website states such a change will be effective on 10/20/10 (after the statement closing date of October 2010).

The website said 3.01% last night and 3.51% tonight. Talk about rates that are subject to change! :-)

Rate tiers are as follows: 5.01% APY applies to balances of $.01 - $25,000 (Effective 10/20/10 the APY will be 3.51% for balances up to $15,000) and 0.80% APY applies to the portion of balances over $25,000 (will change to $15,000 10/20/10) as long as qualifications are met each statement cycle. 0.10% APY applies to all balances if qualifications are not met. All balances will earn 5.01% APY (change to 3.51%APY 10/20/10) to 0.80% APY as long as qualifications are met.

needs to be appreciated by everyone
