Coverdell Education Savings Account Changes

Monday, September 6, 2010 - 8:48 AM
Here is something small that Congress could do to help savers. From the Wall Street Journal:
Unless Congress takes action, starting Jan. 1 the annual contribution limit will be $500, down from $2,000. In addition, you will only be able to use Coverdell money for college expenses, such as tuition and fees, required books and supplies and room and board. Currently, the funds also can be used for expenses for kindergarten through 12th grade.
