ING Direct's 1% Cash Back Promotion

ING Direct is launching a new promotion for Electric Orange customers:

• Earn 1% Cash Back when you use your EO Debit MasterCard from October 1st - November 30th
• Applies to all eligible PIN and signature-based transactions under $50
• Your 1% Cash Back Rebate posts by the 15th of the next month

Some interesting things to note about this promo:

• They're allowing PIN-based transactions (in the past they have only allowed signature-based purchases to qualify)
• Purchases have to be under $50. That makes it much harder to earn significant cash back.
• Cash back is limited to a maximum $250 in Oct and $250 in Nov. That would be at least 1,000 purchases of under $50.
• Cash back at merchants doesn’t count towards the total purchase amount
