I'm afraid USAA Bank has again cut some of its CD rates. Here are the latest 5-year and 7-year CD rates as of 9/24/2010:

  • 3.05% 7-year (was 3.30%)
  • 2.75% 5-year (was 2.81%)
Jumbo CD ($95K min) APYs:
  • 3.05% 7-year (was 3.30%)
  • 2.75% 5-year (was 2.81%)
Standard CD ($1K min) APYs:
  • 3.00% 7-year (was 3.25%)
  • 2.70% 5-year (was 2.75%)

I'm afraid there are no more 3.00% CDs at USAA Bank. Even the 7-year Super Jumbo CD APY has fallen below 3.00%.

As of 10/22/2010:

Super Jumbo CD ($175K min) APYs:
  • 2.90% 7-year (was 3.00%)
  • 2.60% 5-year (was 2.65%)
  • 2.56% 4-year (was 2.61%)
  • 2.30% 3-year (was 2.36%)
Jumbo CD ($95K min) APYs:
  • 2.90% 7-year (was 3.00%)
  • 2.60% 5-year (was 2.65%)
  • 2.30% 4-year (was 2.36%)
  • 2.05% 3-year (was 2.10%)
Standard CD ($1K min) APYs:
  • 2.85% 7-year (was 2.95%)
  • 2.55% 5-year (was 2.60%)
  • 2.25% 4-year (was 2.30%)
  • 2.00% 3-year (no change)
