Bank Of America Joins Chase And Ally In Putting Holds On Foreclosures

Bank of America, the nation's largest bank, on Friday became the latest lender to put foreclosures on hold in 23 states because of concerns that court documents it submitted were improperly prepared.

JP Morgan Chase made the announcement on Wednesday and GMAC Mortgage (unit of Ally Financial which is the parent of Ally Bank) announced it on September 21st.
