I spoke to a CSR at the bank, and she told me that commencing the next qualification cycle, Cornerstone is reducing its top rate from 4.51% to 4.01% and the cap from $25K to $15K.

Thanks.  There goes another three of my backup accounts, especailly due to the cap reduction from $25K to $15K:D

They are one of the "fussiest" RCA banks anyway:-)

Oh, the required number of debit card transactions will be increased from ten to fifteen, and those are "tough' transactions that should behave as a "primary checking account."  And the ACH will be increased from one to two.  Feel like joining a Marines training camp now...

Effective 10/13/10.

51hh, I figured that was your 4.51% backup account, since I couldn't find any others at that rate when I looked at all the RCAs in every state.  So I called them to see if I could apply from California.  When the CSR told be about the reductions, I thought I'd post it here so that you would have a heads-up.

Dunker:

Smart move!:D  Yes, Cornerstone is one of the (hidden) banks that are open nationwide.  You ruined my secret:-)  I have to be careful about what I reveal from now on.

Hehe, enough said ("that" is always local).

P.S., do not bother to apply, folks, they are really realy fussy about debit transactions; need to demonstarte that you use debit card/ACH in a manner of a primary checking account.
