Love Ally's Cds! Talk About A Generous Withdrawal Fee.

I went with Ally bank about 1 year ago. The reason why is because of the awesome 5 year cd rates and the fact that the CD withdrawal penalty is only 2 months interest.

So, do the math. If you can get a 5 year cd rate for even 14 months and then withdraw and get penalized 2 months interest, that is still one full year at a 5 year cd rate.

I also have really like their customer service, website, branding, and consistency. There was cool site that helped me decide to go with Ally, it rated Ally bank on like 7 different areas. I thought it was helpful. Its: Ally Bank Rating
