Stock Market Future After The Lost Decade?

In theory, stocks could revisit their long-term historical total return of around 10 percent a year, going back to 1926. But several market strategists and historians say domestic stocks will have a hard time producing such returns in the coming years.

The article didn't mention the two lost decades for the Japanese Nikkei.

I came to the conclusion very early in investing that:

1. Nobody can predict the stock market, and

2. Go back to (1).

Thus treat all market prediction and commentary as noise (they know as much (if not less) as we do -- i.e., nothing) and go with your own prudence.
