Metlife Bank Raises Rates On Money Market Account

MetLife Bank (0 stars) - Details
Even with the rate hikes, the MetLife Bank rates are not great, but it's nice to see some rate increases for a change.

For the money market account, the rate increases were on the top two tiers:
  • 1.25% APY for $25K+ (was 1.00%)
  • 1.00% APY for $10K-$25K (was 0.75%)
  • 0.50% APY for $5K-$10K (no change)
  • 0.15% APY for $0-$5K (no change)
The same yields apply to the High Yield Savings Account. The savings account only requires $50 minimum balance to avoid a $15 monthly fee whereas the money market account requires $1,500.
