The National Republic Bank of Chicago has some competitive mid-term CD rates. Rates are down a little since my September blog post, but they remain competitive (as of 10/30/2010):

• 1.26% APY 1-year CD
• 1.41% APY 18-month CD
• 2.02% APY 2.5-year CD
• 2.12% APY 3-year CD

A branch visit appears to be required to open an account. The bank has two branches in Chicago.
