DetailsThe RCA and their micro-site disappeared. I called the CSR, who claimed the rate is the same. Maybe it is "closed" to new applicants?

1. Monday, November 1, 2010 - 3:16 PMI currently have 4 RCAs there.
They are at 5.01% and a cap of 25k.
They require an "in bank visit" to open the accounts, and are located in Zacary and Clinton, LA. (Just outside of Baton Rouge.)
I would recommend them as a good RCA bank, however, thier customer service is not top notch.

The CSR informed me that their reward checking is very (even more) restricted to a few towns near Baton Rough (LA) areas. That was why it was not listed on their website at all.

3. Friday, November 26, 2010 - 9:18 AMI opened the accounts there last July with a visit to the branch. Had no problem opening 2 for me and 2 in my wife's name. We were traveling through ZACARY anyway--so stopped by
