HCSB Cuts Reward Checking Rate To 2.78%

The top rate fell from 3.26% to 2.78% APY for balances up to $25K. Second tier rate also fell (1.01% to 0.75%).

HCSB Reward Checking was one of the very few nationwide accounts with rates over 3.00% for balances up to $25K. At least it remains nationally available.

Note, this is a small Texas bank. It has no relation to HSBC Bank.
