They truly do not care about you. They act as if you are a nobody because they have 20 million other customers. With so many other choices, why go with someone that will eventually bring you trouble!

1. Sunday, November 28, 2010 - 6:04 PMWhy anyone would deal with any of the "too big to fail" banks is beyond me. They pay the least interest on savings, have the most and highest fees, and generally have the steepest rates on loans. Not to mention the usual lousy customer service. Most everyone cites the availability of ATM machines. That's a fallacy as many smaller banks and credit unions now reimburse foreign ATM fees. Face it folks. There is no excuse for staying with these devious mega banks. Go to the following site and do yourself a favor and "move your money".

2. Monday, November 29, 2010 - 2:15 PMI do it for the ATMs and branches. I live in Boston, where there is a BofA ATM on just about every corner, and in one spot, there are even branches across the street from one another. I tried TD Bank, but don't want to tie up $2500 in an account that pays very little interest to get ATM fee rebates (TD Bank is nice, but there are very few branches and ATMs in Boston).
Also, BofA's online banking is by far the best I've used (superb bill pay and account transaction history).
Finally, I still have a free student account. I don't pay them fees. None. They also have one of the more lenient overdraft policies around (must go past negative $10 to get a fee).
Really, yes, they're big, but not THAT bad. None of the regional banks in Boston can compete in terms of convenience and account features.
