Regions Bank CD Special Relationship Rates

They're not anything to get excited about, but they are a lot better than Regions Bank's standard CD rates. Rates may vary by zip code. The following rates were the same for zip codes in FL, TX and NC.

As of 12/07/2010:

• 2.00% APY 45-month CD
• 1.50% APY 25-month CD

Minimum deposit is $10,000, and a checking account is required and must remain open for the term of the CD.

For those who have Regions Bank CDs, it's important that you don't let them automatically renew. It might be rolled over into one of Regions' standard CDs with very low rates. For example, the 1-year CD rate is only 0.35%.
