They offer no protection for fraudulent charges on your account and have the worst customer service of any bank I have ever used in 30 years...I have told all friends and family to close their accounts. They do not respond to calls, requests, and lose any disute information you fax or mail...Caveat emptor!!! I wish I had never started banking with them and actively qorking to find a better CU like wings financial! I cannot stress how awful they are in every way! Heaven help its members...I have also heard numerous stories fromother Delta employees...they also share personal information with your employer...or at least Delta...I am filing complaints with state of GA office of thrift supervision and suing them!!!

1. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 - 10:52 AMPlease post immediately all the banks/credit unions you use or are even thinking about using. Today is the first day you are posting and both posts (BankAtlantic and Delta Community Credit Union) have been about how horrible these institutions are. Cant speak to the other one, but I happen to bank with DCCU and have not had a problem although you apparently have.
Oh wait I see you think of Wings CU in a positive way any chance you work there?

Tuesday, December 14, 2010 - 12:27 PMI have always found Delta Community Credit Union to provide prompt, polite, and professional service on the phone that I would consider to be superior to most other financial instiutions. Delta continues to be available for membership in all states with a very simple eligibility via one time low cost charity membership.

NO if you took the time to read you would seen that I DO NOT WORK FOR DCCU - and resent your implication...I think YOU WORK FOR DCCU. I bank with numerous banks and gave a fair assessment based on MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE>>>They suck plain and simple - they allowed a fraudulent company to steal $1200 from me and I now go to litigation and state of GA to file complaints and suits. You are entitled to your opinion, of course, BUT PLEASE do not attack those of us who have has valid POOR experiences with DCCU. I am a flight attendant NOT A BANK EMPLOYEE though I have worked for banks in the past which give me an inside track as to how awful DCCU is! Again CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!!
