Beware Of Sneaky Bank Fees In December

Wednesday, December 15, 2010 - 4:07 PM
From Clark Howard's Dec 10th Show Notes:
I learned from the publication that banks typically raise fees and change terms and conditions twice a year: Once during the summer (usually in August) and then again around Christmas. These are the 2 times of year when most people are out of their routine and focusing on family and vacation. Perfect times to stick you with a gotcha, right?

I think estatements compounds the problem since they're easy to ignore. At least with paper statements you had to acknowledge their existance when you got home from vacation.
