How 2011 Will Be For Bank Profits

Bank stocks outperformed the broader market in 2010, but that might not be repeated in 2011 according to this Wall Street Journal article:
some analysts aren't banking on a quick return to the heady pre-meltdown days. The banking industry's new reality includes a regulatory squeeze on various revenue streams, skeptical investors and relatively few opportunities for growth.

One thing I'm sure banks will use to their advantage is the interest rate spreads as they can keep deposit rates very low.
