Getting Your Credit Score For Free

From the Dallas Morning News:
Under federal rules that took effect Saturday, creditors must notify consumers when their credit report has been used to provide them credit on less-favorable terms than other consumers. [...] Consumers who receive a risk-based pricing notice will be able to obtain their credit report for free so they can review it for accuracy.

If you can’t use this to qualify for a free credit score, don’t forget that DCU members can receive free monthly views of their Equifax FICO credit scores. I have more details in this blog post
