Nationwide Outage Hits Wells Fargo ATMs

Thousands of Wells Fargo & Co. customers were left angry and short of cash Monday after a majority of the bank's 12,000 ATMs nationwide crashed.

According to this AP article, Wells Fargo resolved the "internal system issues" on Monday, and a spokesperson said those who used out-of-network ATMs during the outage would be reimbursed for the $2.50 fee.

Wells Fargo CFO Atkins to Retire; Successor Named "The bank said Atkins is retiring for personal reasons and his retirement from the company will be effective in August, after an unpaid leave of absence that begins immediately."

I think it's a llittle unusual for a retirement of a CFO to begin immediately with a seven month unpaid leave of absence.
