Rate Drop At Clear Sky

According to their website, Clear Sky Savings has a tiered rate structure, which is 1.15% APY for balances below $250K, and 0.25% APY above the $250K threshold. Unless salamanca's has information not yet made public on Clear Sky's website, it seems like a misunderstanding. Salamanca: how do you know this? What is the source of your information about the rate drop you claim? Is it possible that you might be mistaken?

Clear Sky savings just dropped to 1.15% APY from !.25% APY. 

Salamanca: My confusion was with your original post. You wrote "!.25" APY, which I took to mean "0.25." And since you said "dropped," I misread your post to think that you meant that it dropped from 1.15% to 0.25% (which would be worthy of an exclamation point). So I did check before posting (I wouldn't have posted had I not done so); but from your response, I now realize that the typo led me to I misread your original post, and the misunderstanding was mine. You meant that the dropped from 1.25% to 1.15%. So, I owe you an apology for not having read your post more carefully, which had I done so, I would have realized that there was a typo. So, you were not mistaken, I carelessly misread your original post (all because of typo!), and I'm sorry for having questioned you.
