Chase May Cap Debit Purchases Below $100

"Chase is considering a limit of $50 to $100 on debit-card purchases" according to this Chicago Tribune article. This may be another consequence of the new Fed debit card law that will take effect in July that may cap debit card fees that merchant pays to 12 cents per purchase.
