0.75% APY* on balances from $25,001 to $50,000 - (Was 1.25%)

0.25% APY* on balances over $50,000 - (Was 0.50%)

That was a relatively painless rate change, comparing to some others lately.

It may have been relatively painless, but the cumulative effect of all these rate changes is like death by a thousand paper cuts.

LOL, well it was not that bad. I had a total of ten RCA banks changing rates on me lately. It is surpirsing how I adapt my expections ... now the 4% RCA with $25K is my "gold mine." -- used to be 6% RCAs, then 5% RCAs, now 4%... Hmmm, 3% RCAs are not that bad, either.:D

51hh I share your perspective. I am grateful for the good deals Ken finds and shares with us and hope rates won't continue to decline to the point that 3% RCAs will be referred to as "the good old days".
