ING Direct's Electric Orange Checking Bonus As Of April 2011

ING Direct has long offered a $50 bonus for its Electric Orange checking account. It now doesn't require any reference code. The bonus page is @ www.ingdirect.com/nofees

It also requires that you make either 3 debit card purchases or 3 Person2Person Payments (or any combo of the 2) within 45 days of account opening.

One thing to note is that they have been having promotions on Independence Day and Thanksgiving. The bonuses were $76 during the last Independence Day and $103 during Black Friday. So you might want to wait.
