Checking Account Fees Going Up At Bank Of America

It has been reported that Bank of America is increasing the monthly fee of its MyAccess Checking Account, and it's making it harder to have the fee waived. Simon Zhen of MyBankTracker.com reported that effective May 24, 2011, Bank of America will increase the MyAccess monthly fee from $8.95 to $12.00. Also, it's becoming harder to have this fee waived. The direct deposit requirement will be required to be at least $250.

These look very similar to the Chase checking fee changes.
