I received this promotion in the mail. This appears to be only for those who reside in areas that have Capital One branches (Texas, Louisiana, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC).

Like past promotions, this may be targeted so a Capital One rep may require the original mailer. Your miles may vary (YMMV).

This is just for business accounts. New promotions have been reported for Capital One personal checking accounts (see updated thread).

Mention PROMO CODE AP1 to get $200 when you open a Small Business Checking account along with a Small Business Clear Advantage Money Market account by June 15, 2011.

Small print:

The promotion begins at 12:01am EDT on 4/18/2011 and ends at 11:59pm on 6/15/2011. Minimum opening deposit generally required to open Small Business Checking and Small Business Clear Advantage Money Market accounts. The promotion is available to new bank checking customers only. To qualify, you must open both a Small Business Checking account and a Small Business Clear Advantage Money Market account by 06/15/2011. You will receive a $200 credit to your Small Business Checking account approximately 6-8 weeks after the end of the promotion. This offer cannot be combined with any other Capital One Bank new account oepning offer and is strictly nontransferable. Limit one offer per customer.

Notes:

The Small Business Clear Advantage Money Market account has a $15 monthly fee for balances under $5,000.

The Small Business Rewards Checking and the Completely Free Small Business Checking have no monthly service fees.
