Security Risks With RFID Credit Cards

More credit cards are starting to be enabled with RFID which allows card readers to pick up credit card info without touching the credit cards. According to this news article, “An estimated 140 million credit card customers are at risk of electronic pick-pocketing.”

How significant of a risk is this risk? The Ask Mr Credit Card blog makes a good point that this is just fear mongering.
