How You Plan And Pay For Vacation Travel

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 - 3:05 PM
Ally's Straight Talk blog posted an interesting infographic based on the results of a survey of people's summer travel plans. One of the results showed 16% of those surveyed plan to take a plane, 53% plan to take a car and only 3% plan to go on a cruise. As you might expect due to gas prices, more people expect their transportation cost to be more than their accomodations.

With airline "ancillary fee" revenue up 780% (unadjusted for inflation) since 2007 I'm surprised that many still seriously consider flying.  It's far worse on a percentage basis than any fee scam fraud perpetrated by many mega-banks.
