How Credit Scores Impact Auto Insurance Premiums

For those who have no plans to take out loans, you might think you don't have to worry about your credit score. But if your credit score is low due to a mistake or some issue, it could still cost you. One example is car insurance. According to this New York Times Bucks blog post:
If you kept a good credit score until retirement, you’d save nearly $23,000 over the average premium paid by people with similar driving records
