The USA Today columnist Matt Krantz answers a reader's question about if there's a way to get 6% annual yield from a bond ETF. Here's an excerpt from his answer:
it's clear that to get to 6% in the current interest rate environment, you'll need to go into riskier investments. Your best bet, if you're set on that 6% annual yield, would be junk bond ETFs.

Money is piling into all three of those ETFs, and their share prices are soaring, as more people are so yield hungry they are willing to take on increased risk. Their mantra: Cash is trash and junk is king.
